MATURE FIELDS

The PIC technical staff conducts initial assessments on single wells or huge fields to determine the most cost effective strategy to implement Secondary, Improved or Enhanced Recovery methods for optimum total recovery. Mature Fields are often plagued by old, inefficient equipment and poor infrastructure. These are usually minor obstacles with the PIC Methodology of targeting the “low hanging fruit” first. In other words, restoring wettability, controlling water, and removing wax and scale can result in immediate production enhancement with an unmatched return on investment. This “Pay as You Go” approach paves the way for infill wells, revamping facilities, and transitioning to the Enhanced Recovery Phase.
